I think I need to hydrate. Matt/Pam do you have plenty of towels to soak up the rather large pool of sweat that will be following me around your complex? See ya at 0900.

And yes there was an incredible amount of sweat leaving my body. Have to say that the weather is getting more and more to my liking. I think God designed my body to live in the dry climates of New Mexico or Colorado :-p As always a huge thanks to the CFC staff for providing us the opportunity to push ourselves to areas most of us haven’t visited in quite sometime.
33:49. Had to stop a couple of times during wall ball shots to prevent a good vomit. This afternoon at work should be interesting.
Now Terry why would you want to stop a good vomit? A)It shows how much effort you’re puttin out and B) You get a free T! I for one am gonna eat as much as I can before Fight Gone Bad III so I can score double points (that is how it works right?) and get the t-shirt.
I already have to carry half the equipment to do these workouts. I don’t have enough arms to carry the puke bucket too.

Free T-shirt really?
What’s this about getting a free tshirt for upchucking?
Dick D & James I think you have to have at least $145.00 donation to get the FGBIII T’s. Remember it’s for a great cause.
I seem to have started a rumor. The Tshirt thing I was talking about is from Matt and Pam not the FGBIII. Pam said something about it this morning when I made a comment about eating too many eggs before showing up for the WOD.
Now if I could talk them into giving me double points for “filling the bucket” during FGBIII……..
Sorry for any confusion. I’ll go back in my hole now.

Absolutely hit a wall at the wall balls. What I love though is that if you were a long time gym rat like me do this little exercise. Look back in the days where you measured performance by your bench press,(squats were optional, wear baggy pants) and then someone says to you that you will be performing constant athletic/aerobic/strength work in excess of 30 min with only sporadic breaks long enough to keep from collapsing, you would have fallen out of your tree. Do what I do, just drive by the 24 Hour Fitness and laugh. “What do you bench?” “I don’t know but I can Murph in under an hour and Fran in 4 min”.

Yes, you get a free CFC t-shirt if you puke during a CFC workout. Dry heaves don’t count. Actual stomach content must exit the body (via the mouth) by result of WOD stimulus.
That explanation might induce vomiting. Eeewww!
Ok sincerely I was close to losing my lunch tonight. Thats why I was sitting and begging for grapes for about 30 minutes after. It is now 2.5 hours after the workout and I am still running to the toilet or sink every now and then. I didn’t want to embarass myself at the gym and I just about went bumper cars all over the traffic driving home. Whats wrong with me? Its not like we haven’t done anything like that before.
Oh yeah, to finish the rant, if I had known I would get a t-shirt I wouldn’t have held back!

for the first time I actually threw up today…no lunch or anything but…well I’m not going into detail…not sure if that involves a free shirt though!! Great work out~

I don’t think I am willing to condition my body to throw-up every time it feels like it. By avoiding that by either slowing down..reduced weight…reps… I enable myself to go past my previous limits to endure the WOD at my maximum level. I think your body is telling you that you have reached that limit when this occurs. This is just something that I’ve found works for me. I do not yet have a Free T-shirt after almost 2 yrs. I hope that I don’t get one. Let the aisle clear Yoda is leaving the building…
Becky, I am glad I’m not the only one. Good grief. Gerry, I actually didn’t feel sick till after the workout. Believe me, any time that feeling of possibly loosing my lunch comes during a workout, I slow it down a bit.
Sounds like Gerry has an issue with Pukie, haa, haa.
Go ahead and have your fun…I knew it was coming. love ya’ll
Let me clarify here that we don’t encourage in any way shape or form having to puke during a workout. In fact, many of you can attest to our coaching of “go take a walk” to let the feeling subside rather than push you to the pukie point.
It is our belief that if you let yourself throw up to many times during or from intense training, you are effectively conditioning your body to do so every time you train hard.
So, to be clear, do whatever you have to do to avoid puking. However, if it happens, you get a free t-shirt.
