Please add Wednesday morning!! I can’t handle missing workouts like this!!!!!
Casey, Wed normally my off day, but I haven’t flipped tires in a year. It’s like an evil dead lift; I will be there on my “day off” as close to 400 as possible. By the way another Olympic number: my pr 400m 1:29, both men’s 400 US gold medal favorites in qualifying heats ran a 42.12. So these guys finish gets their bags, towel off, change shoes, drink water and put on their jackets as I come wheezing across the finish line in the same race. Just a little perspective next time the TV makes elite level sports look easy.
Report from “Out of Shape L1″…
Advice – do not miss a workout if you can make it – after missing Monday due to my “aching” knee – wink wink… (or being scared of a 3 mile run). I ended up having obligations on Tuesday and could not work out – so now it has been 4 straight days (last time was Friday) and you start to lose momentum…
Hopefully I can make it today – you may have 3 kids in your office this afternoon
Casey,
We’ll have a Wednesday morning class soon. We’re in the process of restructuring our schedule to accomodate new classes and programs and that is one change that we know is inevitable.
Oh Pam, you just made my day!!
Made my do too! Wed & Fri are the only two mornings that my wife doesn’t have to work (and thus I can make it to CFC).
Ooops, typo. You made my ‘day’ not my ‘do’.
Did yesterday’s today at lunch. 6:44, 6:30, 4:44. with 30# DB’s. This afternoon should be “fun”.
19:43
Used 30# DBs & the medium tire.
I tried the large tire & could barely lift it once – wow.
19:? (I can’t remember, but i think it’s 24)
19:06
30lb db
26:46(?)
Wooohooo today was well worth it!
Man those Tire push things were some hard work but we always feel great leaving there!:]
Level? oh yeah no scaling, I love it.
19:48 that’s the last time I encourage Tim M. he beat me by 5 seconds
Awesome routine, the most fun workout in a while, numbers were manageable not intimidating, just as I would start to crap out I would hit 50. The tire is always a fun test. I would recommend that if you have to share a tire, position yourself on opposite sides of the tire 2 widths apart and flip it back and forth to each other, it intensifies the workout with less rest and the buddy system (personal pride) will always makes you reach just a little further.
