This looks deceptively easy, especially when you don’t see any leg exploding exercises or running. The reality check comes in with a blast to the shoulders and triceps, come on, muscles each roughly the size of your hand moving my 200+ pounds up and down 180 times. Add to this the humiliation of jumping rope (no I’m not too manly, I’m too damn uncoordinated to jump, spin the rope and count). Single biggest improvement to be made in time will be rope jumping technique.
20:05 Level 2 (my first one!) Somehow I missed that there were three rounds, so I was sitting all cocky thinking “that wasn’t too bad”. I don’t know about you guys but after all the PU and dips it was hard to get into the jump jope. Every time my coordination failed me, it felt like I was trying to swing lead arms. But I actually made up time in jump rope, I think.

Apparently I mostly turn the rope with my left arm as that’s the one that kept cramping from wrist to shoulder. I’d try to turn with my right arm mostly and that was just goofy. Kind of like me trying to drive right handed. Learn with a stick and the right one just isn’t right. Yup. Jump rope and driving…the two things I predominantly do left handed. Weird.
Hey everyone! Looking forward to seeing all of you tonight. Didn’t exactly have time to breathe, much less work out, so thanks for the fab monday WOD

I had the same problem as Matt P. Need to work on my jump-roping skill.
