Level 2 – 20:39
Made an interesting discovery; while I can throw 75# around w/o a problem and can easily Squat that much, I couldn’t (easily) hold it over my head & do a deep squat. Appearantly I have a LOT of core work to do!
Level II 20:41= Tim caught me. Interesting discovery today. I now feel odd without the ball to check my depth on squats. Food for thought, train like you fight because, you will fight like you train.
OH Squats are an ego destroyer if you compare them to any other squat movement. They have to be judged on their own and weight adjusted down accordingly. When they’re ugly they’re really ugly, but when they’re done well they’re impressive to watch.

Yep. Overhead squats are more of a core movement than a leg or shoulder movement.
