Burpee Challenge day 72

For time:

16 x 100 meter sprints

Note 1: Don’t jog. Don’t run. Sprint! Every 100 meters is everything you have!!!
Note 2: Rest in between each 100 meter sprint as much as you need, just remember that your time is from the start of your first sprint to the end of your last.

Nice workout. But I need it again. I just had 2 “Paleo” cream filled Donuts.

  4. Casey says:

9:35 Not SO much jogging this time Pam :)

Justin, Donuts are the opposing force to kipping pull ups!!

    Trenton 14:25
    Anna 14:27

I didn’t do any jogging or running. I have two main weaknesses in CF. One is speed and one is endurance. This workout, I believe, was meant to work on both of those weaknesses. I gave it my all each time I sprinted, but rested until I could get that deep breath I needed. Once I got that breath (usually within 15-45 seconds), then I’d be off again. Apparently, not as quickly as all of you.
    Great job.

9:05 Whew….Good luck afternoon classes (seriously, bring some icy water and a towel in addition to a drink). Justin way to stay out front. Awesome effort this morining Sean and Mike G. hot on my heels pushing me too. Anna better start seeing some differential between you and Trenton, your times are always so close I’m starting to think yall are holding hands while you work out. (imagine my drill instructor voice when you re-read that). Great effort all around guys.

  7. Allison D. says:

So sorry that I’m missing this one…. running for time has gotten mental for me. Left achilles still giving me problems on some movements.

  8. TracyG says:

25:15, this one’s strange in that the times are all so different. I gave it my all on those sprints and my calves are toast. I’m walking funny again :)

Ouch……..We were not made to be sprinters, but gave it our all each and every time.

I had nothing left after that one. I would much rather sprint than all the long distance running. However, 16, really??

  11. David says:

16:48; only 12 sprints because calves started seizing up

  12. jana says:

Here if any of you haven’t seen what Tim Sr and I are doing check it out. Y’all did great today!

  13. Chris McC says:

Hams and hip flexors are already killing me.

  18. Marnie says:

Hey ya’ll!! Click on Jana’s name~ it’s too funny. I love it! Jana…I’ll be keeping an eye on things so you and Tim Sr. behave and don’t try tripping eachother during a run! :-)
    Who will win??? Dicey!

  19. Sandy says:

  23. Amy Jo says:

I’m with Sandy on needing to lower my recovery time but I gave it everything I had for each sprint.
Now I can enjoy the holiday knowing that I earned it.
It’s crazy how such a simple workout can kick your tail.
..and they thought they needed fancy equipment and a/c. :)
