Sit down to row 1000. Stand up, sit back down. Stand up, walk out side. Throw up.
    Completed as prescribed :)

The lesson today, kids, is: Don’t pound half a Monster energy drink before the work out, on an empty stomach.

Can I be an honorary WC member now?

  3. JamieA says:

Bryan Nettles WC application accepted, welcome to the club!

    19:25 with real burpees! Whew-hew!

Did I ever mention how much I hate the way burpees make me feel. Before, durring and after each one.

Yes, we crossed the finish line at the same time! I was beating him the whole time (he was faster with his burpees, but he hates running!) until the last 800…he was slowly gaining ground and never too far behind me. BUT, I kept telling myself that he was going to try hard to beat me, so I needed to try harder to stay ahead! It came down to the last 100 feet or so when we were both sprinting it out! It was awesome! Great workout – very hard, but great!

So disgusted with myself that I didn’t even look at the board on the way out. Normally I don’t get this way but, I was convinced there was another round of 10 after the 800, so I was trying to pace so I would have the wind to do them all back to back. That’s what I get for gaming the game and poor situational awareness. Sean, best workout I’ve ever seen out of you, great job. Jose, if you don’t like the way the Burpees make you feel maybe you should slow down.

burpees and running two of my least favorite things.Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

I wanted to do the full workout, but I had to cut the last run in half. Actually, I could have done the full 800m but I would have been walking most of it. Scaling back to 400m enabled me to finish strong which is what I really wanted to do. Tough workout, but I’m glad today’s burpees are already done!

  9. Sean Mac says:

14:0? Thanks for the shout out Matt P. I was just feeling it this morning. due to the burpee challenge I can finally do 30 or so burpees without stopping, which helps. Oh ya, I also ditched my Nike shocks and got better shoes.

Feels good to be done so early but working out when it is still dark is just wrong. I did not miss the sun though :)

I am so slow on the burpees despite all the practice I have had, ugh! Good job Monica and Wendi – you girls are so fast! It is so nice when the burpees are worked into the workout – Thanks!!

  12. TracyG says:

I was so tired I couldn’t even remember my time from the street to the white board. MattP, I was really trying hard to catch you on the 600m run…you were my motivation this morning to run faster!!!!

  15. wendi says:

This was an awesome workout.. Didnt think it was going to be hard when I saw it on board. But OMG wasit ever!!!

  16. Mary S. says:

    19:41 or 21:41 I can’t remember.

Okay, before CFC, I did not perspire. In fact, I thought because I was a female I didn’t have sweat glands. Now I perspire and SWEAT!

Oh, and I forgot to tell Pam when I filled out my CFC application that I didn’t run. No excuses–now I run. Well, not exactly a run yet but at least I’m jogging.

  17. David says:

    Substitute rowing for running (250, 500, 750 and 1000 m)

man running is so hard after having my legs totaled and BJJ yesterday.

  22. Travis says:

Ok. I had to do this in my neighborhood today. I went to CFC after work to mark the distance of the run with my truck odometer.
So first I would like to apologize to those I passed in my truck while they were running. That was so wrong of me! (promise I didn’t have the A/C on!)

    14:12

I will say this is unofficial because I’m not sure I had the exact distance of the run but trust me it fell like 800 miles! I mean meters.
I was dying after but feel great now! And love it!
    Breaking walls down daily!
