You know as a former USMC serviceman, that video was truely inspirational…. One of the major reasons I took on a crossfit lifestyle was because of their dedication to our fellow servicemen and women, honoring them by naming workouts after them. Only crossfit and their affiliates could come up with such a manificant way of showing honor to them through blood and sweat workouts………..its an honor being part of the family. Thanks for the video

Done it in 58:53, really sucky time compared to the last time I did Murph, but in this gym (Boom), you have to go up and down stairs for cardio and weights, takes time. Either way, very good workout.

Thanks for posting the video, Matt and Pam. It was a very fitting tribute.

    Excellent video!
A good book about SEAL Team 10 & Lt.Murphy’s last battle in Afghanistan is “Lone Survivor”, written by the only survivor from that last battle – Marcus Luttrell.
I’d read the book and had done ‘Murph’ once or twice at CFC before putting the two together – I read the history of the ‘Murph’ WOD on XfitHQ one day and thought, “I’ve heard this story before”. Amazing what those guys went through and how pathetic the ‘Rules Of Engagement’ are that brought about their demise. Amazing what it takes to even BECOME a SEAL. They truly are the nations best!
